The History of Kingston Animal Hospital

Doctor Kathyrn Cox established Kingston Animal Hospital P.C. on April 13, 1987. Dr. Cox established a practice mission to provide your companion with a high standard of medical and surgical treatment; using state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technology. Areas of emphasis include: preventive medicine, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and nutritional counseling.

In 2000, Dr. Cox undertook the rigorous steps to become accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We remain the only AAHA accredited hospital in Roane County and one of eight in the greater Knoxville area.

In 2008 Dr. Rob Simpson, received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Tennessee 2008 and joined the practice full time.

Dr. Cox and Dr. Simpson both have beloved pets of their own including: Chinese Crested dogs, several domestic shorthair cats, and a miniature horse.
